This not merely used for benefits learning obtaining information from foreign languages through but has also been a medium interaction communication in hospitals, airports shopping centers. paper aims to explore accuracy translating French-Indonesian culinary texts (recipes). samples text were taken internet. research results show that semiotic model GT signifier (forms) source language target by emphasizing equivalence concept (signified) language. aids translate existing concepts words, phrases sentences. A problem encountered cultural equivalence. cannot accurately identify context language, so are form literal translation. However, can be improved refining equivalents sentences one another.
